Stop Rx Abuse

To help educate young people about the dangers of prescription drug abuse, we sponsor a video contest each spring.

Any North Carolina high school student can participate by creating a brief public service announcement video on teen prescription drug abuse and entering it in the contest for a chance to win prizes.  Check back in 2014 for details on how to participate in next year's Stop Rx Abuse contest.

in 2013, Attorney General Roy Cooper and the NC Department of Justice partnered with the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators, the North Carolina Parent Resource Center, and the Governor’s Institute on Substance Abuse to sponsor the contest.
