The Money Matters course offers prosecutors, legal assistants, investigators, and law enforcement greater tools and knowledge to understand and analyze evidence in financial crimes. This course will concentrate on the practical skills of working with complicated and voluminous evidence to effectively investigate and prosecute modern crimes. The participants will leave with a better understanding of what cases belong in criminal court and what cases should be resolved outside the criminal justice system.

Safety Precautions: As part of our COVID‐19 safety protocols, the Conference strongly recommends that attendees wear a mask that covers both the nose and the mouth during conference sessions (unless eating/drinking or outside and socially distanced). Additionally, if you experience any symptoms of COVID-19 within two weeks of the conference start date, we advise that you obtain a negative test result or cancel your registration by contacting Brenda Matthews, and your hotel reservation by contacting the hotel directly (Beaufort Hotel).

All reservations must be accompanied by one night’s room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. The hotel will only hold reservations if they are secured by one of those methods. Hotel reservations can be made directly with the hotel.

Reimbursement: To be eligible for reimbursement of meals and hotel expenses you must be in overnight status (at least 35 miles away from your home or duty station, whichever is closer). If you are not in overnight status, you will only be reimbursed for mileage. Reimbursement forms will be given out at the conference with instructions on what you may or may not claim to be reimbursed.
