A message from Trevor Allen, Academy Director:
Ensuring the safety of our staff and student-officers is of paramount concern. In light of Governor Cooper’s declaration of a state of emergency, school and college closings, and an overall exercise of caution, the NC Justice Academy will, effective 5:00 PM today, suspend in-person training operations until at least March 30th. Both campuses will continue to be staffed, with Academy personnel prepared to answer any questions, enroll students in future training courses, and provide technical assistance as needed. Online training courses will continue to be available without interruption.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 issue as it evolves and notify staff of future plans. We are honored to serve our stakeholders and look forward to resuming in-person training operations in the very near future.
