|Location:||The City of Creedmoor, population of 4,600, is located approximately 20 miles north of Raleigh/RTP in Granville County, North Carolina. The Creedmoor Police Department consists of 16 full-time sworn law enforcement positions, 4 full-time telecommunicators, and 5 part-time officers.|
|Salary:||$40,500 – $44,600, depends on qualifications and experience.|

|Duties:||You will make a positive impact through your service of the community. You must know and uphold local, state, and federal laws and:
§ Testify in court.
§ Patrol assigned areas.
§ Respond to dispatch calls.
§ Gather and record evidence.
§ Produce verbal and written reports.
§ Interview suspects, witnesses, and victims.
§ Make arrests and/or transport to local facilities.
§ Keep a record of activities in a legible and succinct manner.
§ Perform investigations based on intuition and sound judgment.
§ Assist citizens in an emergency and non-emergency circumstances.
§ Investigate domestic disputes, accidents, illegal drug activity, etc.
|Requirements:||Successful candidate must meet requirements including:
§ Valid NC driver’s license.
§ High school diploma or GED
§ A comprehensive background investigation.
§ Medical and psychological examinations and substance abuse testing.
§ Current North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Certification.
