Concealed Handgun Instructor Certification
The Concealed Carry Handgun Instructor Certification program is regulated through the Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission, as designated in NCGS 14-415.12 (a)(4).
IMPORTANT: North Carolina Firearms Laws
Due to recent changes in the administrative code governing regulation of instructors and courses for concealed handgun training, processing of new CCH instructor applications is on hold. We will notify you as soon as we have additional information about the status of the application process for new instructors.
Instructor renewals (with no changes to the content of the class) and the sale of additional completion certificates will continue to be processed in a timely manner.
All Instructor Renewals and Certificate Orders are now being processed through the Acadis Portal.
Portal User Guides:
Instructors should re-order student certificates at least two weeks prior to the date they will need the certificates. Certificates are not available to instructors on a last-minute basis.
